“Academic Services to the Public” September 20, 2023.

Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University organized the activity “Academic Services to the Public” for elementary school students at Ban Khlong Mahasawat School (Tangtrongjit 17. Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Ketpichainarong, Deputy Director of Research and Innovation was the representative to donate funds for improving the school’s electrical system. The donation was from staff and alumni of Institute for Innovative Learning, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, and the general public. In addition to that, there were 3 learning activities for the students:- the first was the creation of Flat Graphics, the second was miraculous herbal activities and the third was the safety of volatile substances. This activity was held on September 20, 2023 at Ban Khlong Mahasawat School (Tangtrongjit 17), Nakhon Pathom Province.

Knowledge Sharing: Medical Educators Professional Development 21 December 2021

🏆 Lecturers of the Institute for Innovative Learning arranged the knowledge sharing program to develop the professional capability of medical educators from various medical education centres (MU-ADP: Q&A) on Tuesday, 21 December 2021, via Zoom application.

In the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr Naeti Suksomboon, Pharm.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mahidol University, delivered a speech. By this program, there were multiple questions and answers (Q&A) sessions regarding the following topics:

Assistant Professor Dr. Piyachat Jittham, Deputy Director of Administration and Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Ketphichainarong, Deputy Director of Research and Innovation, participated in the merit-making ceremony. In this regard, the representatives offered food to thirty novices and monks. In addition, the representatives joined the merit-making ceremony; ten monks performed the Buddha’s mantra chant for the royal merit. Furthermore, Professor Banchong Mahisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, presided over the ceremony and paid tribute in Remembrance of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of the royal birthday at the grounds of the royal statue of King Mahitalathibet Adulyadej Vikrom Phra Boromrajchanok, Office of the President Mahidol University Salaya, on Friday, 3 December 2021

Workshop on “Teaching to be a genius like Da Vinci”, Batch 1, 29-30 November and 1 December 2021

Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University by Associate Professor Dr. Chailert Pichitpornchai, M.D., The Director of the Institute, organized a workshop on “Teaching to be a genius like Da Vinci”, batch 1, on 29-30 November and 1 December 2021 at Novotel Bangkok, Sukhumvit Soi 20. In this workshop, participants had studied the theory and practice of Multiple Intelligences and the foundations of Leonardo da Vinci’s Seven Principles. After completing the workshop, the participants will recognize and analyze a learner’s abilities. In addition, the participants will be able to develop themselves as teachers who can teach across disciplines as well as increase intelligence and ability to create a variety of innovative teaching methods. Moreover, the participants will define and apply the basic principles of teaching with their practice to make the learners be Leonardo da Vinci’s geniuses.
