The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, organized a STEM Day Workshop<\/strong> under the Foundation Course<\/strong> for Grade 10 students of Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS)<\/strong> for the Academic Year 2026. The workshop aimed to promote learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM Education)<\/strong> while enhancing students\u2019 analytical thinking, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n

The STEM Day Workshop featured a variety of engaging hands-on learning stations, including Wind Energy<\/strong> and The Challenging Iodine Experiment<\/strong>, providing students with opportunities to explore scientific concepts and apply STEM knowledge through inquiry-based activities and practical experimentation. The activities encouraged participants to connect classroom learning with innovation and real-world problem-solving.<\/p>\n

Throughout the workshop, students developed essential competencies such as systems thinking<\/strong>, collaborative problem-solving, creative design, and teamwork by working together to address authentic challenges. These learning experiences were designed to strengthen the key skills required for the 21st century and prepare students for a rapidly evolving world driven by science, technology, and innovation.<\/p>\n

The workshop was conducted by the Institute\u2019s STEM education team, including Dr. Pongphathai Kijrungrojnaporn<\/strong>, Mr. Numchok Khunmuenwong<\/strong>, Mr. Patcharasit Peecharoen<\/strong>, and Mr. Phattanaphong Khonthiang<\/strong>, who guided students through interactive learning activities and facilitated knowledge exchange throughout the program.<\/p>\n
