The Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University<\/strong> proudly contributed to the 25th National Conference on Science and Mathematics Education in Schools<\/strong>, held under the theme \u201cGreen STEM Education for Global Sustainability: Integration and Innovation.\u201d<\/strong> The conference was jointly organized by the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST)<\/strong>, Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University<\/strong>, and the Science, Mathematics and Technology Teachers Association of Thailand<\/strong>, and took place from July 24\u201326, 2026<\/strong>, at Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University, Chachoengsao Province.<\/p>\n

Assistant Professor Dr. Piyachat Jittatham<\/strong>, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Kespichaiyarong<\/strong>, Deputy Director for Administration, and Assistant Professor Dr. Namkhang Srivattanarotai<\/strong>, Deputy Director for Education and Network, were invited as keynote workshop speakers to conduct a professional development session entitled \u201cTeaching, Learning, and Classroom Assessment in Science Education\u201d<\/strong> on July 25, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workshop focused on contemporary approaches to learning design and classroom assessment, emphasizing learner-centered pedagogy, meaningful learning experiences, and Assessment for Learning (AfL)<\/strong> practices that support student development. Participants explored practical strategies for designing effective science learning environments and assessment methods aligned with the demands of 21st-century education.<\/p>\n

The three speakers are widely recognized for their expertise in educational innovation, curriculum development, and faculty development. Assistant Professor Dr. Piyachat Jittatham<\/strong> specializes in educational innovation, digital learning technologies, and technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Kespichaiyarong<\/strong> is an expert in learning design, Active Learning<\/strong>, faculty development, and higher education quality enhancement. Assistant Professor Dr. Namkhang Srivattanarotai<\/strong> specializes in Outcome-Based Education (OBE)<\/strong>, learning assessment, curriculum design, and the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance teaching and learning in higher education.<\/p>\n

The invitation extended to the Institute’s academic staff to serve as workshop speakers at this national conference reflects the Institute for Innovative Learning’s<\/strong> recognized leadership in educational innovation, curriculum and instructional development, and professional development for educators. Through knowledge sharing and academic collaboration, the Institute remains committed to advancing teaching excellence, promoting learner-centered education, and contributing to the sustainable development of education at both the national and international levels.<\/p>\n
