The Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, participated in the \u201cCoding & AI Robotics Competition 2026\u201d, organized by the Sarasas School Network at the Phitthaya Suvarnabhumi Conference Room, Sarasas Technological Institute of Suvarnabhumi, on August 6, 2026. Dr. Phongphatai Kitroongrojjanaporn, a member of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, was invited to attend the event as an honored guest at the opening ceremony and to observe the competition.<\/p>\n

The Coding & AI Robotics Competition 2026 aimed to promote and develop the capabilities of students within the Sarasas School Network and students of the Sarasas Technological Institute of Suvarnabhumi by providing opportunities to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and practical experience in digital technologies. These competencies serve as an important foundation for future learning and career development.<\/p>\n

The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their abilities through the application of Coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics. The activities emphasized hands-on learning, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the practical application of technology to develop creative solutions and respond to challenges. Such experiences enabled students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications.<\/p>\n

The participation of Dr. Phongphatai Kitroongrojjanaporn reflected the Institute for Innovative Learning\u2019s contribution to promoting and supporting the development of technology and learning innovation skills, particularly in the areas of STEM, Coding, AI, and Robotics. These areas represent important dimensions of the Institute\u2019s continuing efforts to support learners and educators in developing competencies aligned with the rapidly changing digital landscape.<\/p>\n

The event also provided an important opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking between the Institute for Innovative Learning and the education sector. Through observing the competition and engaging with participating educators and learners, the event created opportunities to exchange perspectives on the development of Coding, AI, and Robotics activities and to explore potential opportunities for future collaboration in digital skills development and learning innovation.<\/p>\n

From a contribution perspective, the Institute for Innovative Learning plays an important role in connecting its expertise in educational technology and learning innovation with real educational contexts. By supporting learning experiences that emphasize hands-on practice and technology application, the Institute contributes to creating opportunities for learners to develop practical competencies and apply knowledge creatively.<\/p>\n

From an impact perspective, promoting Coding, AI, and Robotics skills helps establish a strong foundation for students to develop computational thinking, analytical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and responsible technology use\u2014essential competencies for future learning and careers.<\/p>\n

The \u201cCoding & AI Robotics Competition 2026\u201d therefore represents another meaningful opportunity for the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, to connect knowledge, technology, innovation, and educational networks in support of learner development.
