The Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University<\/strong>, underwent the 2026 Safety, Occupational Health, and Working Environment Assessment<\/strong> on August 13, 2026, at the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. The assessment was conducted by the Center for Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment Management (COSHEM), Mahidol University<\/strong>, as part of the University\u2019s ongoing efforts to monitor and promote safe and healthy working and learning environments across its organizational units.<\/p>\n

Asst. Prof. Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon<\/strong>, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation and Chair of the Institute\u2019s Safety, Occupational Health, and Working Environment Committee, together with members of the committee, welcomed the COSHEM assessment team.<\/p>\n

The assessment is part of COSHEM\u2019s continuing annual evaluation program, which has been conducted for the fifth consecutive year to monitor and evaluate safety-related operations across Mahidol University. The assessment provides an important mechanism for organizational units to review their safety practices, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen measures that support the well-being of personnel and students.<\/p>\n

During the assessment, Dr. Phongphatai Kitroongrojjanaporn<\/strong>, Secretary of the Institute\u2019s Safety, Occupational Health, and Working Environment Committee, presented the Institute\u2019s safety performance and implementation results from 2025 to the present. The presentation covered the Institute\u2019s ongoing efforts to strengthen safety management and promote a culture of safety within the organization.<\/p>\n

The COSHEM assessment team subsequently conducted an on-site inspection<\/strong> of the Institute\u2019s facilities and working environment, covering office areas, classrooms, meeting rooms, utilities, as well as fire prevention and emergency response systems. The assessment also included a review of relevant documentation and supporting evidence related to the Institute\u2019s safety and occupational health operations.<\/p>\n

The assessment concluded with a summary of findings and recommendations from the COSHEM committee. The feedback will serve as an important basis for the Institute to further improve its safety management practices, working environment, and preventive measures.<\/p>\n

The assessment reflects the Institute for Innovative Learning\u2019s commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for work, teaching, learning, and innovation<\/strong>. Beyond compliance with safety standards, IL recognizes that a secure and healthy environment is an essential foundation for enabling personnel and students to perform, learn, and collaborate effectively.<\/p>\n

Through continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement, the Institute aims to strengthen its safety culture and promote a working and learning environment that supports the well-being of its community and contributes to the sustainable development of the Institute\u2019s educational and innovation missions.<\/p>\n
