The Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University<\/strong>, launched \u201cIL SAFETY MONTH 2026\u201d<\/strong> on August 28, 2026<\/strong>, as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting safety awareness among faculty and staff and strengthening preparedness for emergency situations that may occur in the workplace.<\/p>\n

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyachat Jittatham, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University<\/strong>, during the Institute\u2019s 11th Personnel and Unit Meeting of 2026<\/strong>. The event marked the official launch of the safety month initiative, which aims to encourage all personnel to recognize the importance of workplace safety and actively participate in creating a safe working and learning environment.<\/p>\n

Following the opening, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation<\/strong>, officially opened the safety-related activities. One of the key activities was the annual review of the Active Shooter Emergency Response Plan 2026<\/strong>, led by Dr. Phongphatai Kijrungrojnaporn, Secretary of the Institute\u2019s Occupational Health, Safety, and Working Environment Committee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The session provided an opportunity for IL personnel to review emergency response procedures, strengthen their understanding of appropriate actions during critical incidents, and enhance their readiness to respond effectively to potential emergencies.<\/p>\n

The IL SAFETY MONTH 2026<\/strong> initiative reflects the Institute\u2019s commitment to fostering a strong culture of safety and shared responsibility<\/strong> among its personnel. Beyond compliance with safety requirements, IL emphasizes proactive learning, preparedness, and continuous improvement to ensure that safety becomes an integral part of the Institute\u2019s working and learning environment.<\/p>\n

Through this initiative, the Institute for Innovative Learning contributes to building a safer and more resilient organizational environment<\/strong> by integrating safety awareness, knowledge sharing, and practical preparedness into its organizational development. The initiative also reinforces IL\u2019s commitment to supporting the well-being of its personnel and creating an environment where everyone can work and learn with confidence.<\/p>\n
