Participants explored key issues related to data accuracy, privacy protection, AI bias, source verification, authorship, and academic integrity, enabling them to integrate AI into their teaching practices responsibly while maintaining academic standards and fostering trustworthy learning environments.

They also learned how to create 3D models, prepare printable files, configure printing parameters, and transform digital designs into physical prototypes.

Throughout the hands-on workshop, students experienced the complete engineering design process—from brainstorming ideas and developing original toy concepts to creating 3D models, refining designs, preparing files through the slicing process, and producing their creations using 3D printers. These activities strengthened participants’ design thinking, systematic problem-solving, creativity, and engineering skills, while encouraging them to apply STEM knowledge to the development of innovative solutions.

The workshop aimed to enhance students’ potential and promote excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Participants engaged in hands-on learning experiences focused on the design and development of robots while strengthening essential 21st-century skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and the practical application of STEM Education concepts.

A highlight of the program was the Robot War competition, which provided an exciting and challenging environment for students to apply their knowledge creatively while developing strategic thinking and collaboration skills.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University.

The workshop was conducted by the instructional team consisting of Dr. Pongpatai Kitrungloadjanaporn, Mr. Numchoke Kunmunwong, Mr. Putcharasit Pejaroend, and Mr. Phattanapong Konthaing, who provided close guidance and shared practical knowledge throughout the activities to inspire students to become future creators of technology and innovation.
