Congratulations on the Invention Award Gold Medal at WorldInvent Singapore 2025 (WoSG)

Invention Title: “Wireless Sensor-based Newborn Intramuscular Injection Training Manikin”

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the research and invention team for receiving a Gold Medal at the international competition and exhibition WorldInvent Singapore 2025 (WoSG).

Competition Results

This innovative manikin is designed to enhance training in newborn intramuscular (IM) injections, integrating wireless sensor technology to simulate realistic feedback for learners. Intramuscular injection is a critical medical procedure in neonates for delivering essential medications such as vitamin K and hepatitis B vaccines. Accurate injection techniques—regarding position, depth, and angle—are vital to avoid injury to muscles, nerves, or blood vessels. This invention aims to improve competency and safety in clinical practice through hands-on simulation.
