The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, proudly congratulates Miss Mi Chan Htaw and Miss Daria Pipa, two Ph.D. candidates under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Namkang Sriwattanarothai and Associate Professor Dr. Chalerd Pichitpornchai, on winning the Best Presentation Award at the International Conference on Multidisciplinary and Current Educational Research (ICMCER) held on October 24th, 2025, at Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho – Marriott, Tokyo, Japan.

Their award-winning presentation, titled “University Students’ Use of ChatGPT in Critical Thinking Tasks: Prompts, Performance, and Ethical Implications of Human–AI Collaboration in Higher Education,” showcased innovative research exploring how generative AI tools like ChatGPT can enhance higher-order thinking, and ethical awareness in university learning environments.

This achievement not only highlights their academic excellence but also reflects the Institute for Innovative Learning’s commitment to advancing research at the intersection of education, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence. The recognition at this prestigious international venue underscores Mahidol University’s leadership in promoting AI-integrated pedagogy and evidence-based educational innovation on the global stage.
