The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University organized a video-based review activity on the topic “Crowd Crush and Emergency Accidents” on July 25, 2025. The session was presented by Mr. Pongpatai Kitrungloadjanaporn, Secretary of the Occupational Safety, Health, and Work Environment Committee. The objective was to raise awareness and provide practical survival knowledge to personnel and students when encountering emergency situations in crowded environments.
This activity aimed to:
Educate participants on the basic survival principles in the event of crowd crushes and other emergencies
Help them recognize early warning signs of danger
Equip them with strategies to respond effectively and safely during unexpected incidents
Participants were guided through real case study videos, with expert commentary encouraging critical thinking, analysis, and mental preparedness. The session emphasized mindful planning and quick decision-making in order to reduce harm during crisis situations.

Understanding the dangers of crowd crushes
Avoiding high-risk zones and situations
Basic first aid techniques when oneself or others are injured
The Institute continues to prioritize health, safety, and preparedness through educational activities that empower individuals to act responsibly and effectively during emergencies.
