The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (Establishment Project), Mahidol University, organized the “Fire Prevention and Firefighting Training and Fire Evacuation Drill 2025” on 19 December 2025 at the Panyaphiphat Building, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University.

The program began with a theoretical training session covering the causes of fire incidents, fire prevention measures, and basic firefighting techniques, delivered by a team of expert instructors. The session aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of emergency response and fire safety management.

This was followed by a review of the fire evacuation plan, including clearly defined roles and responsibilities of personnel in each position, to ensure preparedness in the event of a fire emergency.

In addition, a fire evacuation drill was conducted jointly by personnel from both institutes, with support from the Traffic and Safety Team, Mahidol University, to simulate real-life emergency situations and reinforce coordinated response procedures.

The training concluded with hands-on practice using basic firefighting equipment, enabling participants to develop practical skills and confidence in effectively handling emergency situations.
