Associate Professor Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a lecture on the topic “AI-Augmented Teaching and Learning: Insights from Thailand” at the 13th International Conference on Educational Research and Innovation (ICERI 2025), hosted by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
This year’s conference was held under the theme “Navigating Human–AI Collaboration in Education: Challenges and Opportunities,” bringing together researchers, educators, and innovators from around the world to exchange ideas and explore emerging frontiers in education and technology.
Dr. Chailerd shared Thailand’s perspectives and experiences in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning processes, highlighting both the challenges and the transformative potential of AI-driven educational practices within the Thai context.
The conference took place online via Zoom on October 15, 2025, and served as a significant platform for global dialogue on the future of human–AI collaboration in education.
