The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, organized the “Science and Innovation Exploration Workshop” for Grade 11 students from Benchama Maharat School, Ubon Ratchathani Province, featuring a series of hands-on STEM activities designed to broaden scientific perspectives and foster creative problem-solving skills.
Students participated in the “Death Bridge” and “Wind Energy” activities, facilitated by Mr. Pongpatai Kitrungloadjanaporn, Mr. Numchoke Kunmunwong, and Mr. Phattanapong Konthaing, where they applied engineering concepts and explored renewable energy solutions.
The “Bath Bomb” session was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon and Ms. Atcharaphan Phothong, engaging students in chemical investigations and creative formulation.
In the “Roller Coaster” activity, Assistant Professor Dr. Namkang Sriwattanarothai and Ms. Atcharaphan Phothong guided learners in designing and testing dynamic motion systems using physics principles.
The “Mangrove Survival” activity, facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Ketpichainarong and Ms. Atcharaphan Phothong, allowed students to explore ecological systems and environmental conservation through experiential learning.
Additionally, the “Blood Investigation” activity was conducted by Mr. Pongpatai Kitrungloadjanaporn and Mr. Phattanapong Konthaing, giving students a forensic-science experience connected to real-world applications.
The workshop took place from December 1–3, 2025, at Boonsiri Conference Room, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University.
During the program, participants also visited the Siriraj Medical Museum, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and the Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park, Mahidol University, enriching their learning experience through exposure to science, medicine, and nature.
