The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, was invited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to participate in the National Science and Technology Fair 2025, held from August 9–17, 2025, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Halls 5–6, LG Floor. The event was organized under the theme “Science in Action! For Sustainable Communities.”

As part of the fair, the Institute organized a special science lab activity entitled “Creative Clay Time – Shaping the World with Creativity.” This hands-on workshop allowed participants to explore scientific principles related to material properties, including moisture, pressure, drying, and hardening, and how these factors cause physical changes. Participants created keychains using Japanese clay — a safe, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly material — while learning under the guiding concept of “Science in Action for Sustainable Community.”

The activity emphasized experiential learning through an integrated STEAM Education approach, combining science, art, and creativity to inspire sustainable and innovative thinking.
