Associate Professor Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, M.D., Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, was invited as a keynote speaker to deliver a special lecture on “Professional Use of Generative AI in Higher Education Teaching.”
The lecture was part of the 21st Annual Academic Conference 2026 under the theme “AI-Powered Higher Education Literacy Learning,” organized by the Thai Professional and Organizational Development Network of Higher Education Personnel.
The conference aimed to promote innovative approaches to enhancing teaching and learning quality in higher education, equipping educators to adapt to continuous changes. It also aligns with the Reinventing University initiative by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, by leveraging data analytics, digital technologies, and advancements in artificial intelligence. The event further supports the development of teaching competencies in accordance with the Thailand PSF framework and provides a platform for disseminating academic research and scholarly work.
The lecture was held on March 19, 2026, at Ambassador Hotel Bangkok, Bangkok.
