The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Chinpat Mongkonsiriwatthana and Assistant Professor Dr. Monamorn Precharattana on their outstanding achievement in receiving the “Gold Medal Invention Award” and “Outstanding Special Award” for their innovation entitled “iGEAR: Intelligent Gear Learning System with STEM Hands-on Learning Kit.”
The awards were presented at The 9th China (Shanghai) International Invention & Innovation Expo 2026, held during June 10–12, 2026, in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China.
The award-winning innovation, iGEAR, was developed to enhance STEM education through experiential and hands-on learning experiences. The system integrates intelligent gear mechanisms with educational equipment designed to promote active learning, creativity, problem-solving skills, and deeper conceptual understanding among learners.
This international recognition reflects the innovation capability and educational excellence of the researchers and highlights the commitment of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, to advancing educational technology and fostering meaningful learning experiences through innovation.
