The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, organized the grand opening ceremony of the Institute for Innovative Learning Building together with an appreciation event entitled “One IL – One Heart: United in Gratitude, Advancing the Mission of Learning Innovation” on April 24, 2026, at the Chailerd Pichitpornchai Conference Room, 1st Floor, Institute for Innovative Learning Building, Salaya Campus.
The event began with a Buddhist merit-making ceremony, including chanting by nine monks from Wat Hathainaresuan, followed by the offering of lunch and traditional requisites. The ceremony was held to bring blessings and prosperity to the organization and its personnel.
Afterwards, the Institute’s executives officially opened the event, joined by university administrators, staff members, students, and distinguished guests. Participants then gathered for a group photograph and attended the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at Entrance 1 to mark the formal opening of the new building.
Guests were invited to tour the learning facilities and innovation spaces within the building. On the 2nd Floor, the featured facilities included the Mahidol Media Lab and Multimedia Studio, while the 3rd Floor houses the Master Classroom and Virtual Classroom. These facilities reflect Mahidol University’s strong commitment to educational innovation, learning technologies, and the development of future-ready learning environments.
The program then continued with the appreciation ceremony “One IL – One Heart” in honor of Associate Professor Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai, M.D., Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University.
This meaningful occasion marked another important milestone for the Institute for Innovative Learning in bringing together personnel from all sectors under the concept of One IL – One Heart, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing the mission of learning innovation and building a sustainable future for education.
