Institute for Innovative Learning Congratulates Doctoral Student on Receiving Thesis Funding to Promote SDGs Policies for Fiscal Year 2026
The Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, proudly congratulates Ms. Kornkanok Kuesakul, a Doctoral Degree student (Student ID: 6536616) in Nursing Science, on being selected to receive funding under the Thesis Promoting SDGs Policies for Fiscal Year 2026, organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
Her research, entitled “Development and Testing of the Telelactation Service Delivered via Mobile Health Application to Promote Exclusive Breastfeeding 1 Month for Urban Mothers: A Three-Steps Mixed Method Study,” focuses on the development and testing of a telelactation service delivered through a mobile health application to promote exclusive breastfeeding during the first month among urban mothers.
The research was selected for the Thesis Promoting SDGs Policies for Fiscal Year 2026, a funding initiative that supports graduate research contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study demonstrates the application of digital technology and innovative healthcare services to improve access to breastfeeding support and professional guidance. It also reflects the potential of research and innovation to address real-world health challenges while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting good health and well-being, reducing disparities in access to support services, and leveraging digital technology to strengthen healthcare systems.
Ms. Kornkanok is a student in the Double Degree Program between the Institute for Innovative Learning (IL) and the Faculty of Nursing (NS), Mahidol University. The program provides an interdisciplinary learning environment that enables students to integrate knowledge from learning innovation and health sciences to develop research and innovations addressing real-world challenges.
As part of the Double Degree Program, Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharee Kespichaiyarong, Deputy Director for Administration, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wararat Wongkiat, Chair of the Program, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, serve as academic advisors and contribute to the student’s academic and research development. Their roles support the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge, research design, and innovation development toward practical applications.
The Contribution of the Institute for Innovative Learning is reflected in its commitment to strengthening graduate-level learning, research competencies, and the application of technology and innovation to address societal and health challenges. Through the collaboration between IL and NS, the Institute contributes expertise in Learning Innovation, Educational Technology, Digital Learning, and innovation design, complementing health and nursing knowledge to support the development of impactful research.
