Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyachat Jittatham, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharee Kespichaiyarong, Deputy Director for Administration; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Namkhang Sriwattanarotai, Deputy Director for Education and Networks, extended their congratulations to Dr. Supan Yodyingyong, a faculty member of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, on receiving the 2026 Mahidol University Jongjate Metheewich Award 2026 “Real World Impact for Sustainability” in the Young Researcher Award category, Health Science, Science and Technology field.
The recognition was announced at the press conference for the “Mahidol University Jongjate Metheewich Award 2026,” held on September 25, 2026, at the Regency Room, The Authors’ Lounge, G Floor, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok.
The press conference provided a platform to highlight the work of young researchers whose research has generated valuable contributions and demonstrated potential for practical application. The award emphasizes research that creates “Real World Impact for Sustainability,” promotes positive impacts on society, and translates knowledge into practical benefits. It also aims to encourage and inspire young researchers to develop research that contributes to sustainable national development.
Receiving this award also provided an important platform for bringing the roles of researchers and knowledge generated at Mahidol University to public attention. As a faculty member of the Institute for Innovative Learning, Dr. Supan Yodyingyong shared his research experiences and knowledge through media communication, helping raise awareness and inspire perspectives on developing research that connects with real-world challenges and needs.
