Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyachat Jittatham, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation, extended their congratulations to Dr. Supan Yodyingyong, a faculty member of the Institute for Innovative Learning, on receiving the Outstanding Technologist Award 2026. This prestigious recognition reflects his knowledge, technological expertise, and ability to translate knowledge into practical applications.
On October 20, 2026, Dr. Supan Yodyingyong attended the OUTSTANDING TECHNOLOGIST AWARDS & TECHINNO FORUM 2026, organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of His Majesty the King, in collaboration with the Thailand Management Association (TMA). The event was held at C asean Ratchada, 10th Floor, CW Tower, Bangkok, under the theme “Unfinished Business.” The forum focused on transforming research into commercial value, developing patents supported by concrete business plans, and fostering collaboration among the public, private, and academic sectors to strengthen Thailand’s innovation ecosystem.
The event featured presentations of technological and innovative works by finalists for the Outstanding Technologist Awards and Young Technologist Awards 2026, followed by the award announcement. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakrin Phumirat, President of the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of His Majesty the King, announced the results and congratulated the award recipients. The Royal Award Presentation Ceremony for the Outstanding Technologist Award is scheduled for November 23, 2026, at the Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Center (KICE), Khon Kaen Province, with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presiding over the ceremony.
In addition, Dr. Supan Yodyingyong participated as a speaker in the Technology Talk session, sharing his experiences and insights into the design and development of his award-winning work. He also discussed the challenges encountered throughout the development process and approaches to translating technological innovations into business applications.
