The Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, organized the AUN-QA Programme-Level Quality Assessment: Preliminary Assessment for Fiscal Year 2026 for the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science Programmes in Science and Technology Education (International Program) on September 2–3, 2026, at Room 205, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Institute’s administrators and programme representatives, led by:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharee Kespichaiyarong, Deputy Director for Administration
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Namkhang Srivattanarotai, Deputy Director for Education and Network
- Dr. Supan Yodyingyong, Programme Secretary
The assessment was conducted by an assessment committee comprising Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satrirat Thadakant, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kawin Sipiyarak, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.
The AUN-QA Programme-Level Quality Assessment: Preliminary Assessment serves as an important internal quality assurance process that provides an opportunity for the programme to review and reflect on its educational management, programme implementation, and overall quality in accordance with the AUN-QA framework.
The assessment also provides valuable opportunities for programme administrators and faculty members to exchange perspectives with the assessment committee, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and further enhance the quality and effectiveness of the programme.
The participation of IL’s administrators and programme representatives reflects the Institute’s commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and excellence in graduate education. Through systematic internal assessment and reflective practices, the Institute seeks to strengthen its academic programmes and ensure that learning outcomes, educational processes, and programme development remain aligned with the evolving needs of learners and the international higher education landscape.
This quality assessment is also an important mechanism for supporting the Institute’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of learning, strengthening academic standards, and developing graduates with knowledge and competencies relevant to the future of science, technology, and education.
