The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, organized the “STEM & Robotics Camp” Workshop (Robot War Activity) for Grade 11 students from Wat Suthiwararam School, Bangkok, on June 25, 2026, at the Chailerd Pichitpornchai Conference Room, 1st Floor, Institute for Innovative Learning Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ potential and promote excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Participants engaged in hands-on learning experiences focused on the design and development of robots while strengthening essential 21st-century skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and the practical application of STEM Education concepts.
A highlight of the program was the Robot War competition, which provided an exciting and challenging environment for students to apply their knowledge creatively while developing strategic thinking and collaboration skills.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University.
The workshop was conducted by the instructional team consisting of Dr. Pongpatai Kitrungloadjanaporn, Mr. Numchoke Kunmunwong, Mr. Putcharasit Pejaroend, and Mr. Phattanapong Konthaing, who provided close guidance and shared practical knowledge throughout the activities to inspire students to become future creators of technology and innovation.
In addition, participating teachers joined the “IL Learning Innovation Tour”, an immersive experience designed to explore and discover future learning innovations at the Institute. The tour also served as an opportunity to exchange perspectives on educational approaches that support student development in the digital era.
The project was honored to have Dr. Pongpatai Kitrungloadjanaporn serve as the lead instructor, with Mr. Putcharasit Pejaroend acting as assistant instructor, working closely with participants throughout the workshop and inspiring young learners to pursue innovation and technological creativity for the future.
