Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyachat Jittatham, Director of the Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, attended the opening ceremony of the 2026 Mahidol University Educational Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) Quality Assessment on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Prof. Emeritus Dr. Natee Raksapolmuang Conference Room, 5th Floor, Office of the President Building, Mahidol University.
The quality assessment is conducted from September 21–22, 2026, in accordance with the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx), which provides a framework for assessing organizational performance and supporting the continuous development of educational quality and institutional excellence.
During the opening session, the assessment committee met with Mahidol University executives and heads of academic and administrative units. The session began with a welcoming address by Prof. Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University, followed by the introduction of university executives in an online format.
The Chair of the Assessment Committee subsequently explained the objectives, assessment framework, procedures, and processes of the quality assessment and introduced the members of the assessment committee.
The opening session continued with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University, on the university’s strategic direction and key challenges, together with additional information presented online by the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) team.
The participation of the Institute for Innovative Learning Director in the 2026 EdPEx Quality Assessment reflects IL’s engagement in Mahidol University’s quality assurance and organizational development processes, as well as its commitment to supporting the university’s pursuit of educational quality, organizational excellence, and continuous improvement.
