Participation in the Collaborative Meeting on Driving the One Mahidol One Tambon Project in Education, June 30, 2026

Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Ketpichainarong, Deputy Director for Administration, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wararat Wongkia, Program Chair, from the Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, participated in the collaborative meeting to discuss partnership opportunities and implementation approaches for the One Mahidol One Tambon Project in Education on June 30, 2026, at the 2nd Floor, Sirivadhanabhakdi Building, Mahidol University Alumni Association under the Royal Patronage, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Sompop Prathanthurarak, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement, Mahidol University, delivered opening remarks and presented an overview of the One Mahidol One Tambon Project in Education. The initiative aims to integrate the knowledge, expertise, and institutional strengths of Mahidol University to contribute to improving quality of life and advancing educational development in communities through sustainable approaches.

The meeting also featured presentations of key educational initiatives, including “Salaya Children’s University”, presented by Associate Professor Dr. Thiantong Thongpanchang from the Faculty of Science, and “Salaya New Generation Teachers”, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Watcharee Ketpichainarong from the Institute for Innovative Learning.

The program continued with brainstorming sessions and an open forum that encouraged participation and input from representatives of government agencies, local administrative organizations, and educational institutions. The discussions focused on identifying authentic community needs and educational challenges to support effective implementation of the One Mahidol One Tambon Project in Education.

This collaborative engagement reflects Mahidol University’s commitment to fostering co-creation between the University and the community to generate meaningful and sustainable educational outcomes, ultimately contributing to positive transformation within the Salaya community.
