The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, organized the “STEM & Robotics Camp (Robot War Activity)” for Grade 7 students from the Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Environment (SMTE) Program at Prakhonchai Pittayakhom School, Buriram Province, during June 18–19, 2026, at the Chailerd Pichitpornchai Conference Room, 1st Floor, Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom.

This workshop was designed to promote learning in STEM Education and Robotics through hands-on experiences using the micro board as a key educational tool. The program aimed to strengthen students’ skills in programming, computational thinking, and robotic control system design while integrating knowledge across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in an engaging and creative learning environment.

Throughout the camp, students explored fundamental programming concepts for controlling onboard devices, applied sensor technology and expansion boards, and learned how to operate drive systems and motors through Radio communication. They also designed, assembled, and developed their own robotic creations, culminating in the exciting Robot War challenge. This activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and experiential learning through practical application.

In addition, participating teachers joined the “IL Learning Innovation Tour”, an immersive experience designed to showcase future-oriented learning innovations at the Institute and provide opportunities to exchange ideas on educational approaches that support the development of 21st-century skills.

The workshop was led by Numchoke Kunmunwong as the main instructor, with support from Assistant Professor Dr. Monamorn Precharattana and Phattanapong Konthaing as assistant instructors. Together, they provided close guidance and mentorship throughout the activities, inspiring students to further develop their programming knowledge and apply robotics innovation to real-world contexts and future learning opportunities.
