The Institute for Innovative Learning, Mahidol University, organized the workshop project “Future-Ready STEM Education: Design and Ethical AI Integration for All” from May 14–15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in a hybrid format. The onsite sessions were held at the Virtual Classroom on the 3rd floor of the Institute for Innovative Learning building, Mahidol University (Salaya Campus), while online participation was available via the Zoom application.

The workshop played an important role in promoting the development of knowledge and practical skills among teachers, lecturers, students, and educational personnel in designing learning experiences aligned with the educational context of the AI era. The program focused on exploring and analyzing both challenges and opportunities in advancing STEM education and Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration through collaborative learning and professional exchange of perspectives. This process encouraged participants to gain deeper understanding of emerging educational challenges and to develop effective and appropriate learning management approaches that support inclusive, high-quality education capable of responding to future global changes.

The project was also part of the United States’ Freedom 250 initiative, which aims to expand access to high-quality educational opportunities. In addition, the workshop was conducted in collaboration with the Fulbright Specialist Program, supported by the U.S. Department of State, to invite specialists from the United States to share expertise and strengthen the institute’s academic capacity.
