Asst. Prof. Dr. Pirom Chenprakhon, Deputy Director for Research and Innovation, Institute for Innovative Learning (IL), Mahidol University, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wattana Weerachaiyanukul, Deputy Dean for Educational Innovation and Salaya Campus Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kornkanok Boonwong, Assistant Dean for Education, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, together with administrators and teachers from Saohai “Wimon Wittayanukul” School, during their visit to the Institute for Innovative Learning.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to explore IL’s learning facilities and spaces that support modern teaching and learning. The delegation visited the Virtual Classroom, Master Classroom, Multimedia Studio, and Mahidol Media Lab, which are designed to support teaching and learning through the integration of technology, digital media, and diverse learning approaches.
The visit also enabled the school administrators and teachers to gain insights into the practical application of educational technologies and learning media, as well as to learn about the facilities and learning ecosystem available to students and learners to support their educational development and future learning experiences.
This engagement reflects the Institute for Innovative Learning’s role as a learning hub and model environment for educational innovation, with a commitment to sharing knowledge and expertise in Learning Innovation, Educational Technology, and Digital Learning with educational networks. It also promotes knowledge exchange and collaboration between higher education institutions and schools, creating opportunities for shared learning and further development.
Furthermore, opening IL’s learning spaces and sharing its expertise helps inspire educators and broaden their perspectives on designing and developing learning environments for the digital era. These efforts contribute to strengthening the capacity of students, teachers, and education professionals to adapt to technological changes and evolving approaches to teaching and learning.
